Eligibility for Graduation

To be eligible for graduation, you must complete all required coursework and meet every requirement outlined for your degree. You play the key role in keeping your graduation progress on track. Regularly reviewing your Degree Progress Report (DPR) is the best way to monitor your progress and resolve any unmet requirements.

  • “Satisfied” means the requirement will be completed with your current courses in progress.
  • “Not Satisfied” means action is needed.

Questions about majors or minors should be directed to your academic department.

Once you apply to graduate and register for your final semester, the Registrar’s Office will review your general education (CGER/GDR/GEP) requirements. You will be notified if anything is missing.

  • All grades, transfer credits, and grade changes must be received by the Registrar’s Office within 30 days of the official graduation date. If any requirement remains incomplete, your degree cannot be awarded.
  • All communication about your degree status will be sent to your UWSP email, so continue checking it regularly—even after your final semester. Any issues affecting your graduation approval will be communicated only through UWSP email.

If you have questions about your DPR or any graduation requirement, please contact the graduation auditor.
