ORIENTATION & ACADEMIC ADVISING NEXT STEPS

- Student ID number is required, located on your acceptance letter. (This is your official log on for all UWSP accounts.) Contact Information Technology: 715-346-4357, email@example.com, with questions
- Register and take the UW System Placement Exams
- All first-year students are required to take both math and English placement tests. World language placement tests are optional (French, Spanish or German).
- You should use your UWSP login information to sign up.
- Testing must be completed at least three weeks before your virtual academic advising and registration appointment. Please see the testing services website for retake options.
Complete the registration form below to choose your virtual academic advising and in-person orientation preferences. Appointment confirmations will be sent within 5-7 days. Continue to check your UWSP email to stay up-to-date on next steps and to find event details with Zoom link for your virtual academic and career advising appointment.
ALL new transfer and non-traditional students are required to complete online/self-paced orientation. Registration will be sent to your UWSP email beginning in April for students enrolling in the fall term. Once completed, students will receive with instructions and next steps for academic advising and course registration.
In-person orientation sessions begin in June.
