Intramurals
The University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point Intramurals program is dedicated to providing students with involvement opportunities in a healthy, safe and competitive environment. Our activities enhance the college experience by promoting engagement, community responsibility, and good sportsmanship.
Sport leagues offered include: Basketball, Volleyball, Ultimate Frisbee, Kickball, Trench Ball, Soccer, Badminton, Bag Toss, Flag Football, Softball and Golf.
Intramurals teams play in “blocks.” A block is five weeks long and takes place on the same nights and times for the entire block. We offer two blocks per semester. Anyone can create a team and play in a sport league! Get a few friends together who want to play and have fun—name a team captain and sign up on IMLeagues or use the IMLeagues App. If you don’t have a team, sign up as an individual “free agent” and our office will ensure you find a team. Each team or individual will pay a small fee to participate depending on the sport league.
Any gear needed to play is typically provided, with a few exceptions. Our program is broken into two different types of sport leagues: D1 leagues are competitive and D2 leagues are recreational. The goal is to make sure every student has an opportunity to participate at whatever level they feel comfortable.
