As part of the UW-Stevens Point campus, Schmeeckle Reserve is heavily used for teaching and research by many different groups both on and off campus. If you plan to teach classes or conduct research in Schmeeckle, please complete the Teaching and Research Use form below. This information is used to coordinate management, teaching, and research efforts on the property.

Schmeeckle has several facilities that can be reserved for teaching purposes. UW-Stevens Point and school groups can reserve them for free within 2 weeks of the class. Click the links below for more information about reserving:
- Visitor Center Meeting Room: indoor space with computer and projector for up to 40 people
- Menzel Pavilion: open-air picnic shelter for up to 50 people, located near the visitor center
- Friends Amphitheater: open-air seating with stage area for up to 250 people, located near the visitor center
