The natural setting of Schmeeckle Reserve is a perfect backdrop for group programs and events. Several facilities and spaces can be rented for meetings, programs, celebrations, and other group events. For all rentals, Schmeeckle offers free parking, restrooms and drinking water, and easy access to the trail system.
Depending on your group needs, Schmeeckle offers three different facilities that can be rented:
- Pankowski Friends Amphitheater: An open tiered stone seating area for 200-250 people and a roofed stage with lighting and electricity. This space is ideal for weddings, award ceremonies, music concerts, plays, and other larger events. Learn more.
- Menzel Pavilion: An open-air picnic shelter with flexible bench and table arrangements for up to 60 people. Features a two-story, sandstone fireplace, stone columns, and a soaring roof. This space is ideal for sit-down gatherings such as picnics, family reunions, and graduation celebrations. Learn more.
- Visitor Center Meeting Room: A flexible multi-use indoor space that is ideal for classes, meetings, and smaller gatherings year-round. Tables and chairs can be arranged in different ways, accommodating up to 40 people with just chairs and up to 30 people with chairs and tables. Learn more.
