UW-Stevens Point Chemistry Biology Building

To provide students and faculty with the best classroom and laboratory space for research and teaching, the university opened the state-of-the-art science Chemistry Biology Building in Fall 2018. It houses the department offices as well as the central offices of the College of Letters and Science.

Our new learning space added 176,500 square feet of working space and became a central hub of activity for campus. CBB was designed as a “science-on-display” facility with teaching and research labs and instrumentation found in top tier research institutions. The building offers two 96-seat
lecture halls and three 48-seat classrooms.

From Green Bay and eastern Wisconsin:
Take Highway 29 to Wausau, then I-39/ Hwy 51 south to Stevens Point. Take exit 159 and drive west on Stanley Street into the city for approximately 1.6 miles. The Chemistry Biology Building is located on the corner of Stanley Street and Fremont Street.

Or take Highway 41 to Appleton, then Highway 10 west from the Fox River Valley. Then follow Highway 66 west into Stevens Point. Turn right onto Fremont Street for approximately 0.3 miles. The Chemistry Biology Building is located on the corner of Stanley Street and Fremont Street.

From Madison and southern Wisconsin:
Take I-39/Hwy 51 north to Stevens Point. Take exit 159 and drive west on Stanley Street into the city for approximately 1.6 miles. The Chemistry Biology Building is located on the corner of Stanley Street and Fremont Street.

From the Milwaukee area:
Take I-94 west and north to I-39/Hwy 51 above Madison. Take I-39/Hwy 51 north to Stevens Point. Take exit 159 and drive west on Stanley Street into the city for approximately 1.6 miles. The Chemistry Biology Building is located on the corner of Stanley Street and Fremont Street.

From Minneapolis/St. Paul and western Wisconsin:
Take I-94 east to Hwy 29 east. Follow Highway 29 east to Wausau, and then take I-39/Hwy 51 south to Stevens Point. Take exit 159 and drive west on Stanley Street into the city for approximately 1.6 miles. The Chemistry Biology Building is located on the corner of Stanley Street and Fremont Street.

Or take I-94 east and south to Osseo. Take Highway 10 east to I-39/Hwy 51 and turn south to Stevens Point. Take exit 159 and drive west on Stanley Street into the city for approximately 1.6 miles. The Chemistry Biology Building is located on the corner of Stanley Street and Fremont Street.

From Wausau and northern Wisconsin:

UW-Stevens Point Trainer Natural Resources Building

Many of our outstanding biology faculty office in the Trainer Natural Resources Building (TNR). The building also houses our impressive collections in ichthyology, herpetology, parasitology, and ornithology, all of which are used in research and in our courses. Faculty and students also use the greenhouse facilities located on the rooftop of TNR for a variety of ongoing research projects.
