YOU are invited to participate in choir placements!
Our Campus and University Choirs are open to ALL UWSP students – even if you are not a music major/minor. Placements are held the first week of classes and are informal – designed simply to help us find the best ensemble for your voice.
What do I need to prepare? Nothing!
What happens during the placement?
- Vocal warm-up (“Zi-u, Zi-u, Zi-u”)
- Short sight-reading exercise (My Country, ’Tis of Thee)
- Brief conversation about choir opportunities and goals
Where do I sign up?
Sign-up sheets are posted outside of Dr. Cruz’s office (Noel Fine Arts Center room 315)
When are placements held?
The first week of classes. All majors and non-majors are welcome – we would love to sing with you!
