More information about applying as a new First-Year student at UW-Stevens Point
Apply online using either the UW System Application or the Common Application. Applicants will not be given preference by choosing one application over the other.
Please choose, complete and submit only one of the two applications.
If you prefer to complete a paper application you can download and print the
pdf of the application, or request a copy from the UW System HELP Office (800-442-6459) or the UWSP Admissions Office (715-346-2441).
Please note that the Common Application does not offer a paper version.
New first-year students applying to
UW-Stevens Point at Marshfield and
UW-Stevens Point at Wausau campuses should complete the UW System Online or print application.
Ready to come back? Complete and submit the UW System online admission application form or print out and complete the paper application. You may also request a copy from the UW System HELP Office (800-442-6459) or the
UWSP Office of Admissions and Recruitment.

Special students are a diverse group broadly defined as people not currently seeking a degree. Some examples of special are teachers seeking to maintain certification, those taking classes for personal enrichment or High School students wishing to take college courses before graduating from high school.
Special students at UW-Stevens Point
(excluding high school students) do not need to fill out an application form for admission. They may register for classes using the mail-in registration form or by reporting to the Admissions Office for in-person registration
