Ian Rode

Originally from southeastern Pennsylvania, I have lived around the country working as a professional musician, educator, and administrator. Outside of Admissions, I love listening to live music, going on hikes with my family, and searching for the perfect homemade pizza recipe!

Piece of advice: Jump on new opportunities even when you feel out of your depth! By waiting until you feel ready, you might pass on the chance to do something great that can challenge you and open new possibilities.
What he wanted to be growing up: An archeologist!
What he enjoys about UWSP: As someone who loves to walk, I enjoy being able to easily get anywhere I need to be on campus. The campus is easy to navigate and everything you need is just a few minutes away.
Favorite place on campus and why:
The Atrium in the Noel Fine Arts Center! It’s such a unique and cool experience to be surrounded by all the arts in one place and serves as a perfect spot to enjoy a good cup of coffee.
