Environmental Science

The Wisconsin Environmental Science Course Framework outlines an ideal year-long high school environmental science course. Topics in the framework are prioritized to help in planning courses of varied length. The framework is not intended to serve as a curriculum but to provide a consistent foundation upon which environmental science courses in Wisconsin can be developed. The framework should be modified to meet each individual teacher's needs.

The digital resource library contains materials that can be used to teach the topics, concepts, and subconcepts in the Environmental Science Course Framework. Resources include activities; assessment strategies; labs; websites; and video, field trip, and guest speaker suggestions.  Items in the library were contributed by Wisconsin teachers and can be modified to meet individual classroom needs.

Advanced Placement Environmental Science Course Information
Advanced placement (AP) courses are approved through The College Board. The College Board AP ES website  features many useful resources including an AP ES topic outline, sample exam questions, and a course description.
