UWSP is always on the lookout for innovative new program ideas that meet the ever-changing market needs for our students – particularly for fully online and Graduate programs. We believe that the best ideas come from a diverse range of perspectives, and that’s why we want to hear from YOU!
Do you have an idea for a new, innovative program at UWSP? Examples include a specialized Graduate Certificate that would complement or extend an existing UWSP program of study, or a new online Master degree that fills a gap in our program array, or non-credit programming to address workforce development needs.
The UWSP Growth Initiative (GI) Team has developed new idea processing workflows that provide:
- A guided, standardized way to capture and explore new ideas
- A transparent way to feed new ideas into the Growth Initaitive pipeline
- An easy-to-use process for collecting the information needed to evaluate a program’s viability
How Do I Submit an Idea?

If you have developed a new program idea that has not been reviewed or approved by the applicable Dean, complete and submit a “New Academic Program Idea Form.”

If your college, department, or individuals have developed an idea that the appropriate Dean has approved to move forward for further exploration, submit a “Growth Initiative Discovery form.”
