UW-Stevens Point is dedicated to providing a vibrant program array that fosters student success. To extend our reach beyond the campuses, we have introduced the new Online & Graduate Program Growth Initiative (Growth Initiative). This initiative offers learning experiences that cater to evolving learner needs more efficiently and effectively. The Growth Initiative revolves around the following primary objectives:
- Grow a varied portfolio of distance and continuing education programs that results in learner transformation, increased enrollment, maximized resources, and an optimized infrastructure for growth.
- Serve post-traditional, place-bound, youth, and lifelong learners through credit and non-credit programs, workshops, and conferences.
- Develop new academic programs in a coordinated manner and continually assess and improve them.
The Growth Initiative adopted a “New Program Accelerator” approach encompassing four phases: Ideate, Cultivate, Activate, and Evaluate. For more details on our New Program Accelerator, please visit the linked page in the left menu.
