Round III of the UWSP General Education Program’s Assessment Schedule
To ensure a more equitable workload distribution, the 5-year assessment cycle will be divided in the following manner. For courses with two GEP Categories, instructors are required to submit separate portfolios for each GEP Category during the scheduled assessment period.Submission of all GEP course portfolios is in Microsoft Teams — GEP Assessments — Course Portfolios:

2024-2025
Round III of the GEP Assessment — Foundational Skills and Dispositions Level
The following GEP Categories are to be assessed in 2024-2025: Critical Thinking [CT], Written Communication [WC], Quantitative Literacy [QL], and Wellness [WLN].

Round III of the GEP Assessment — Human Cultures and Sciences Level – Part I
The following GEP Categories are to be assessed in 2025-2026: Natural Sciences [NSC] and Social Sciences [SS]
Use 2025-2026 GEP Assessment Course Portfolio Template.docx to prepare a course portfolio meeting the GEP requirements for Round III of the GEP Assessment.
If your course(s) carry double-category designations, only the scheduled GEP categories are required to be assessed at this time.
