Students interested in applying for scholarships must submit a completed School of Education Scholarship Application to 470 College of Professional Studies by the deadline, 4:30 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 3, 2014. Class schedule, required essay, and one confidential reference form completed by a university faculty, staff, or campus employer must also be submitted by the deadline. Late applications will not be considered.

Students studying abroad during the spring semester are encouraged to submit a scholarship application and essay. Students abroad should follow the same requirements as listed above.
The School of Education Awards Committee will meet to select the award winners, using the following criteria:
- Application information
- Essay quality
- Financial need
- Reference quality
- Cumulative Grade Point Average
Award winners will be notified the week of Feb. 17, 2014, and will be invited to attend the School of Education Celebration of Teaching and Learning Reception on April 11, 2014. The winners receive the actual scholarship in the fall of 2014.
