Business 490 – Future Leaders Program I and II
The Future Leaders Program is designed for Sentry School of Business and Economics students who want to distinguish themselves by learning to set goals, overcome challenges and collaborate effectively. This prestigious year‑long experience helps students develop high‑level professional skills while working closely with community partners and business leaders.
The Future Leaders Program runs from September through May and is built around two consecutive three‑credit courses (Business 490: Future Leaders Program I and II) which may be taken in place of general electives in any Sentry School major.

- Accepts only 15-20 students to ensure meaningful engagement
- Starts with a meet‑and‑greet reception with local business mentors
- Includes regular mentoring sessions during class time
- Features unique hands-on learning experiences
- Concludes with a certificate ceremony celebrating program completion

- Minimum 3.25 overall GPA
- Two faculty recommendations
