Others Talk. Sentry Does.

Business is all about walking the talk, so why do so many business schools just talk? We don’t.

We’re the Sentry School of Business and Economics at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point, and if we learn something in the morning, we’re putting it to work in the afternoon–at organizations, on campus and in the community. Our hands-on approach means our students graduate with that something extra employers love:
real-world experience.

That’s a big reason why we’re one of the fastest-growing Wisconsin business schools.

What makes the Sentry School better?

Academics

We’re not bound by textbook and PowerPoints. We create classes of tomorrow – in AI, advanced analytics, lean management, and more – so students graduate up-to-speed on the latest trends. Learn more about our majors, certificate programs and MBA program.

Internships

We require students to complete an internship before graduation. These internships get you great experience and foster lifelong connections – not to mention job offers.

Activities

Sentry School activities are hands-on, and our exclusive Pro Events program gives students access to myriad learning opportunities beyond the classroom – speakers, panel discussions, workshops and off-campus activities.

Student Support

When we forge connections with businesses or launch new programs, it’s one more way we stand behind our students. Discover how we support and empower students from their first visit to graduation day – and beyond.

JOIN THE WINNING TEAM

Kicking off fall 2026, UW-Stevens Point will be offering the Midwest’s only sport business major from an AACSB-accredited business school at a public university. As a sport business student, you’ll learn how to provide marketing, analytics, event-promotion and merchandising support to athletes and teams, driving attendance and support and providing the data teams and programs rely on for success.
