Mission Statement
The UW-Stevens Point Sentry School of Business and Economics creates career-ready graduates and leaders through applied learning. We serve the businesses, economy and people of the greater Central Wisconsin region. We specialize in preparing students for success by providing professional development experiences, access to employers and in-demand skills.

ACADEMICS
Programs include accounting, business administration, business economics, data analytics, finance, management and marketing, sport business and an MBA program.
UW-Stevens Point Sentry School of Business and Economics students serve local businesses and organizations as well-prepared interns. Thirty-two percent of Sentry School graduates come from Marathon, Wood and Portage counties and more than 50 percent begin their careers in Central Wisconsin.

Smiley Professional Events
Providing information and inspiration for improving students’ academic and professional development, Pro Events is a series of speakers, panel discussions, workshops, and off-campus opportunities that engages students to take advantage of learning opportunities beyond the classroom.

EXPERTS
Center for Business and Economic Insight (CBEI)
The CBEI provides quarterly Economic Indicator Reports and Special Topic Reports to the Central Wisconsin community. These reports present a basic understanding of the state of the economy at the national, state, and regional level. COMMUNITY OUTREACH
Business Advisory Council
A select group of decision makers among a diverse group of companies located in Central and Northcentral Wisconsin, the BAC provides input into strategic planning for the Sentry School and creates educational programming to fit the needs of Central Wisconsin businesses. Business Outreach and Training
Devoted to the development and delivery of exceptional business improvement programming, this unit consistently evolves programming to meet the needs of local businesses. Business Outreach works to foster practical initiatives, establish partnerships, and steadily deliver quality projects.
Small Business Development Center
Offers no cost business advising to anyone starting or operating a business. Topics range from business planning and financial analysis to sources of capital and marketing planning. The SBDC also offers workshops, seminars and conferences.
