Students interested in applying for scholarships must complete the online School of Education Scholarship Application by the deadline, 11:55 pm on Friday, January 31, 2020. One confidential reference form must also be completed by a university faculty, staff, or campus employer by the deadline. Late applications will not be considered.

Students studying abroad during the spring semester are encouraged to submit a scholarship application and essay. Students abroad should follow the same requirements as listed above.
The School of Education Awards Committee will meet to select the award winners, using the following criteria:
- Application information
- Essay quality
- Financial need
- Reference quality
- Cumulative Grade Point Average
Award winners will be notified by March 2020 and will be invited to attend the School of Education Celebration of Teaching and Learning Reception on Monday, April 27, 2020. The winners receive the actual scholarship in fall 2020.
