The Sentry School of Business and Economics encourages all of our majors to develop their knowledge and skills outside of traditional classroom settings by joining a student organization.
Accounting Club
The Accounting Club is open to accounting major/minor students and all of those who are interested in accounting. The Club’s purpose is to promote leadership, explore potential careers in accounting, and provide networking opportunities for its members.
American Marketing Association (AMA)
UW-Stevens Point launched an American Marketing Association student organization to provide students like you with the resources and skills to shape the marketing industry. As a member, you can expect events, networking and leadership opportunities, plus scholarships and awards.
Business Club
The Business Club provides UWSP students opportunities to learn and grow professionally while networking with other students and business leaders in the community. Open to all students, but geared towards those in a business major or minor.
Data Analytics Technology & AI (DATA) Club
The Data Analytics Technology & AI Club strives to create a dynamic and inclusive environment where students can explore and immerse themselves in the world of data science, artificial intelligence, computer programming, and business analytics. Our mission is to bridge the gap between academic theory and real-world applications by providing opportunities for hands-on learning, mentorship, and career exploration in these rapidly growing fields.
Entrepreneurship Club
The UWSP Student Entrepreneurs Club is a non-profit student org that helps foster and promote entrepreneurial activities on campus and throughout Central Wisconsin.
Financial Literacy Association
The purpose of this organization is to increase the financial literacy among UWSP students. This goal will be achieved by using trained student volunteers to assist other students with any financial hardships and/or questions they may come across. Our regulations lie within the university’s policies as the trained students, or coaches, are subject to limit their advice to the training provided by UW Extension.
National Society of Leadership and Success
The NSLS is the nation’s largest leadership honor society, with 1,031,787 members across 660 chapters. College students are selected for membership based on academic standing or leadership potential, providing a nationally recognized achievement. Members participate in a step-by-step program to build their leadership skills and earn a certificate upon completion. Membership is for life and offers benefits such as scholarships, exclusive events, employer recruitment, and discounts. Affiliation can be listed on personal accomplishments, including resumes.
Student Investment Club
At the Student Investment Club of UWSP, we’re not just about textbooks and lectures; we’re about turning theory into real-world success. Join us on our journey as we raise funds to build a dynamic real money trading portfolio, where members gain hands-on experience navigating the ever-evolving financial markets.
Toastmasters Club
The mission of the Toastmasters Club of UWSP is to provide a mutually supportive and positive learning environment in which every member has the opportunity to develop communication and leadership skills, which in turn foster self-confidence and personal growth. The Toastmasters Club of UWSP is an affiliate of Toastmasters International https://www.toastmasters.org. Toastmasters International has many resources to develop your leadership skills through effective oral communication.
