Incoming Fall 2025 Students

Starting Aug. 1, new admitted incoming students and new transfer students can log in to the UWSP Scholarship Portal to apply for all first-year institutional scholarships. The priority deadline is Feb. 2 at midnight. 

Current UWSP students

Students currently enrolled at UWSP and continuing their studies can begin applying via the UWSP Scholarship Portal on Nov. 1 with a priority deadline of Dec. 1. The application will match you to available scholarships based on your responses, increasing your chances of being eligible for more opportunities. The application saves progress automatically, so you can complete it over multiple visits.

Other Awards and Scholarships 

The scholarships below are available for Sentry School students, but require a separate application process and are administered by outside organizations. Also, visit the UW-Stevens Point Financial Aid and Scholarships office for information on additional scholarships available at UW-Stevens Point.

Joey Trzebiatowski Memorial Scholarship

Must be majoring or minoring in business and have at least a 3.0 GPA

Cheri Smith Scholarship

Available to UWSP juniors or seniors in the School of Business and Economics. A student receiving this scholarship as a junior may re-apply again as an incoming senior. This scholarship is offered through the Central Wisconsin Community Foundation. Click here to view other scholarships through the Community Foundation –​ the Cheri Smith Scholarship is located under “S”. The scholarship will award up to $2,000 annually.

Increasingly, our awards reflect the university’s vision of providing challenging learning and leadership experiences that prepare students to be global citizens. Honorees receive their awards at our annual Scholarship and Awards Banquet in the spring.
