Division of Student Affairs

Helping students create a personal and meaningful experience

Whether you are living in the residence halls, enjoying a meal or snack in one of our dining areas, attending an athletic event or socializing at the University Centers, Student Affairs departments put life into your University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point experience.

Your health and well-being are the focus of our Student Health ServiceCounseling Center, and Dean of Students Office.

We work to create a welcoming campus that embraces diversity and helps grow UW-Stevens Point students into responsible global citizens.

We also know that non-traditional students have different needs including affordable, quality child care.

The Division of Student Affairs is here to help you create and build a Pointer Life that remains a part of you long after you leave UW-Stevens Point.

Welcome to the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point. On behalf of the Division of Student Affairs, I want to take this opportunity to introduce you to our campus community. Throughout the Division of Student Affairs you will find professionals who care about students and their personal and academic success while they are at UWSP.

The Division of Student Affairs enhances the diverse educational, wellness, and personal development needs of our students and the University community. Our mission statement reflects the values that guide our collective work to support an environment of mutual respect and integrity that encourages students to achieve optimal potential as individuals, scholars, and citizens in partnership with the university and the community.

I have only mentioned a few attributes of the Student Affairs Division; you will observe a number of services that will assist you with your entry into the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point’s family. Retention and ultimately graduation are my goals for every single student. Our primary focus is your success while you are here.
