Players

Players is a UWSP student organization seeking to provide a place for students to foster their creativity in not only theatre but writing, dance, poetry, and more! The purpose of Players Student Artistic Alliance is to foster interest and participation in social and artistic activities, as well as create opportunities for professional educational growth.

Weekly meetings are held on Mondays at 5pm in the Noel Fine Arts Center Conference Room.

Arts Management Association

Arts Management Association is a resource for those in the Arts, Entertainment and Media program and introducing the program to those unaware. AMA intends to grow the art community and provide students with resources and support to do so. We have guest speakers from different areas of the arts and also travel to various locations on business trips to gain a better perspective of future careers.

Student Handbook

The performing and visual arts are important components of the academic and cultural life of the UWSP campus. The emphasis placed on preparing students for professional careers in the arts contributes to UWSP’s uniqueness within the University of Wisconsin System. Culturally, the quality of theatre and dance performances at UWSP brings state, regional, and national recognition to the Department of Theatre and Dance and our high quality academic and production programs have established UWSP as the primary undergraduate center in Wisconsin for students interested in studying the performing arts. This handbook will orient theatre and dance majors and minors to the Department of Theatre and Dance and answer fundamental questions about the department.
