Our student research event is a highlight of our year when we get to shine the light on the inspirational, creative accomplishments of our student scholars at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point. They will present projects in the humanities, natural sciences, math, computing, and the social and behavioral sciences.
The College of Letters and Science will celebrate an outstanding group of student researchers representing projects from across COLS majors. The Annual Undergraduate Research Symposium is scheduled for Friday, May 7, 2027.
This signature event will showcase the work of students in research posters and oral presentations taking place throughout the Haeni Chemistry Biology Building, 2101 Fourth Avenue, Stevens Point. We hope you will be able to join us for this culminating experience for our students and their faculty mentors, families, and friends. The 27th Annual COLS Undergraduate Research Symposium held May 1, 2026 was an impressive demonstration of the close collaboration between faculty and students in research work. The event featured 120 projects from across the College with over 170 students and faculty participating!
