FamilY Planning ONly Services
Most services at UW–Stevens Point Student Health are at no additional cost, as they are included in students’ segregation fees. Some services may have a cost that is charged to the student’s account.
The Family Planning Only Services (FPOS) program through Forward Health Wisconsin may help cover the cost of certain family planning and reproductive health services.
The purpose of this program is to provide coverage for birth control services and related routine reproductive health care.
Eligibility is based on students’ income. Wisconsin residents may apply for this program. Coverage may be approved through temporary enrollment or by completing a full online application.
FPOS Covered Services
The following services may be covered when provided as part of a family planning visit:
- Contraceptive services and supplies
- Pap tests
- Testing and treatment for sexually transmitted infections (STIs), and other select laboratory tests
- Annual and routine preventive primary care services related to family planning
