How to Apply – Quick Reference

Follow these steps to apply for a position as an external candidate:

Create or Sign In to Your Account

  • If you do not already have an account, you will need to create one.
  • If you have an existing account, click Sign In in the upper right corner of the page.

Access Career Opportunities

  • Navigate to the Career Opportunities page.
  • Select UW-Stevens Point to view available positions.

Find and Apply for a Job

  • Browse the listings and click Apply on the job you are interested in.

Complete Your Application

  • You can choose one of the following methods to complete your application.
  • Upload your resume to autofill the application.
  • Continue applying by manually entering your information.
  • Use a previous application if you’ve applied before.

Review and Submit

  • After completing all the steps, review your application carefully.
  • Click Submit to finalize your application.

Check Your Application Status

  • Go to your Candidate Home to view the status of your application(s).
  • You can see submitted applications as well as those still in progress or saved as drafts

INTERNAL CANDIDATES

Current UW employees can explore and apply for jobs via the Jobs Hub in your Workday app.

  • Clicking the “Learn How to Find & Apply for a Job in Workday” button will take you to the knowledge base article on how to apply for positions through the Jobs Hub in Workday. ​
  • Current Universities of Wisconsin employees, regardless of campus, will apply for jobs using their employee Workday account.
  • Current employees should NOT create an external candidate account to apply for a UW job.​​​​
