STUDENT LEADERSHIP OPPORTUNITIES

Housing and Residence Life offers leadership opportunities that support personal and professional growth. Students are encouraged to get involved, step outside their comfort zone, and build connections within the residence halls as well as the greater campus community.

Program Board

One for each residence hall

Program Board (PB) is a hall-specific group designed to bring students together and build community. It’s a great way to get involved in your residence hall, help plan fun and meaningful events, and even take on a leadership role. Reach out to your RA or Hall Director for more information.

Residence Hall Association

governance for all 13 halls

Residence Hall Association (RHA) serves as the voice of the 13 residence halls. RHA provides opportunities to develop leadership skills through elected and appointed positions, as well as through attendance at state, regional, and national conferences.

National Residence Hall Honorary

top 1% of on-campus student leaders

National Residence Hall Honorary (NRHH) is an organization that provides recognition for those individuals living in the residence halls who have demonstrated outstanding service to the on-campus community.

Themed Community Experiences

Students apply for a Themed Community Experience (TCE) through the UWSP Housing Portal. The TCE application priority date for new students is May 1st. These are optional communities that allow students to live near other students with similar interests, identities, or majors. Check out the individual virtual postcards for community expectations.
