Education Leaders as Students

Whether you’re a teacher, literacy coach, principal, district administrator or educational consultant, this program equips you with the tools to lead and innovate in language and literacy education. The 54-credit program can be completed in three years. It will primarily be delivered online, with the addition of an annual educational event designed to build collegiality, showcase scholarship, and provide the opportunity for live dialogue with researcher-presenters.

From your first in-person residency to courses and research, this sample timeline is based on the standard 6-credit enrollment per term.

Dissertation Options

You’ll have five dissertation options to choose from, including monograph, toolkit, publication, arts or hybrid.

Community of Learners

Connect with peers in your own cohort who have diverse backgrounds or other cohorts who share similar disciplinary interests.

Global Affiliate Scholar Program

A global affiliate scholar is an expert in a sustainability, education or a related field. They support the Ed.D. by serving on dissertation committees and contributing to special speaker events or residency.
