Student Government Association
OUR ROLE
Our role is to be active participants in the governance of the university, representing student interests, and creating policies concerning student life, services, and interests. We maintain the sole authority over the disposition of the allocable Segregated University Fees and the review of non-allocable Segregated University Fees. We also appoint students for institutional governance positions.
ARE YOU READY TO BE A LEADER ON CAMPUS?
SGA is structured in three branches of government:
1) Executive Branch (President, Vice President, and Executives)
2) Legislative Branch (Student Senators)
3) Judicial Branch (Head Justice and Associate Justices)
If you are a student at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point, you are already a member of the Student Government Association. We are always looking for students to join us as sentors, student interest representatives (SIRs), executives, or appointed governance representatives.
If you believe in making a difference, want to work with a group of student leaders, and want to exercise your rights as a student, join SGA!
