STUDENT PROJECT EXAMPLES
Here’s a glimpse of what we do from projects created by students just like you!
• Distributed Computing: A student in the class of 2019 created a project to utilize a network of otherwise underpowered surplus computers to solve complex problems!
• Portable Cybersecurity Labs: In 2022, a student used a handful of Raspberry Pi devices to create a portable cybersecurity lab that fits in a space smaller than a shoebox!
• Hardware Hacking: Ever wonder if you could trick Windows into thinking a Removable Disk is a Fixed Disk? Ever wonder why that even matters? The student behind this project did! The solution was to dive into the intricacies of USB chipsets and hack the firmware!
• Cybersecurity Recovery Tools: Student projects from 2021 to 2023 focused on developing tools that provide practical solutions to cybersecurity problems from penetration testing to recovering after a cyber attack!
