Space for Parking on campus is limited. All motorists who wish to park vehicles in campus lots must purchase a permit or pay at a meter or pay station. A permit serves as permission to park and does not guarantee a space. Permits are not valid at meters or pay stations without payment. Student permits are sold on a first-come, first-served basis, until the permit sales maximum is reached.

Please log in to the Parking Portal and add yourself to your preferred waitlists (JPQ, W or UWSP Sentry (0ff campus). Offers to purchase permits via waitlist will be sent to your UWSP campus email.
8/6/2026: UWSP Sentry Lot permits (off-campus, 1.5 miles from UWSP at 3150 Dixon St.) are still available for $250 annual permit. If interested, then add yourself to the UWSP Sentry waitlist.

Permits are sold on a first come first serve basis until sold out. After they are sold out a waitlist is started.
Permits are only sold as “Annual” at the beginning of the academic year.
If it is not needed for 2nd semester you must request the permit to be cancelled for a partial refund. This must be done by email to Parking.Services.Office@uwsp.edu.
Student Parking Lots & Meters
Student parking lots are located on the perimeters of campus and may not be as convenient as preferred. The student permit lots are not close to the academic buildings. The largest student lot is located on the East side of campus, while most residence halls are on the West side of campus.
Students are able to park at meters on campus or on the streets with proper payment. See meter information under the Visitors tab.
Student lots are also open (free) during Spring Break and the days between Christmas and New Years.
New / Incoming Students – please note
New/Incoming students do need to wait two (2) business days after course enrollment before a Parking Account is established.
