RETENTION DATA SOURCES
The primary source for quantitative data on retention at the university is the Office of Institutional Research and Effectiveness (OIRE). The Office of Student Retention collects qualitative data and conducts analysis of both qualitative and quantitative data to drive insights and action.
Universities of Wisconsin Administration also hosts accountability dashboards with data from UW-Stevens Point and other Universities of Wisconsin institutions.
EAB Navigate’s Analytics section can generate historical trend data on student performance, course enrollment, DFW rates, major changes, and other types of data drawn from the University’s student information system (AccesSPoint). Navigate is best used as a tool for asking questions and exploring student data in preparation for deeper analysis with institutional data.
