NSSE

The University of Wisconsin System participates in the National Survey of Student Engagement (NSSE) every three years. The NSSE survey is sent to all currently enrolled first-year and senior students. The responses provided by these students inform the degree to which they are engaged with the programs and activities that promote student learning and professional success. There are ten engagement indicators organized within four themes:

    1. Academic Challenge = Higher-Order Learning – Reflective & Integrative Learning Strategies – Quantitative Reasoning

    2. Learning with Peers = Collaborative Learning – Discussions with Diverse Others

    3. Experiences with Faculty = Student-Faculty Interaction – Effective Teaching Practices

    4. Campus Environment = Quality of Interactions – Supportive Environment

    Graduation Exit Survey

The Academic and Career Advising Center (ACAC) , Office of Institutional Research and Effectiveness (OIRE), and Information Technology (IT) collaboratively administer the Graduation Exit Survey to recent UW-Stevens Point undergraduate and graduate degree recipients. Survey administration begins December 1 for fall and winter graduating cohorts and May 1 for spring and summer graduating cohorts. The survey remains open for five months.

Survey responses provide valuable information on graduates’ career planning experiences while at UW-Stevens Point, career outcomes, salaries, employers, continuing education, and geographic location. Currently, the Graduation Exit Survey dashboard contain responses of graduates from 2017-2018 through Winterim 2025. The dashboard provides a snapshot of graduates as some did not participate in the survey and those who participated may not have responded to all survey questions.
