UWSP Information Security Office Mission Statement
The mission of the UWSP Information Security Office is to safeguard the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information systems, identity, and data assets by providing proactive security expertise, creating and maintaining a resilient and secure infrastructure, and fostering a culture of security awareness and compliance throughout the organization.
The Information Security Office:
- Investigates computer system intrusions and other suspicious cyber security activity on the UWSP network.
- Collaborates with university departments to develop responsible information security procedures and practices.
- Works alongside all areas of the university to maintain the highest standards of information security awareness.
- Oversees the UWSP Information Security Program.
