Ashley Peper

BIO

The UW-Stevens Point Department of Computing and New Media Technologies welcomed Ashley Peper as a faculty member, five years after she graduated from UWSP, in 2020. Peper previously taught at UW-Madison where she earned her doctorate in Industrial and Systems Engineering. Her primary area of interest is in operations research. View CV.  She looks forward to teaching students at her alma mater. Coming full circle, Peper will oversee the student-run Center for Athletic Scheduling (CAS) where students problem solve and design custom schedules for collegiate teams. She enjoyed the three years she worked as a modeler for the CAS, coming up with ways to make the models work.
