Student Experience and Transformation
OUR MISSION
The Office of Student Experience and Transformation (SET) aims to provide support to pre-college and college students who need help with their transition to the UWSP campus community. SET serves as a welcoming campus resource that provides academically and culturally integrated transformative experiences. SET empowers student development, connects first-generation students, and celebrates all students’ lived experiences and campus communities.

PATHWAYS TO SUCCESS
We provide intentional pathways that support students from pre-college preparation to graduation through the Summer Bridge Program (LEAD), the First-Year Experience course, and ongoing wraparound support from TRiO Student Support Services.

The Student Success Center houses two important programs within the Office of Student Experience and Transformation Department: Fostering Success and LEAD Summer Bridge Program
PointersWay for Success
PointersWay for Success supports the successful transition of first-year students to college by strengthening academic preparedness, fostering a sense of belonging through a supportive network, and promoting informed decision-making regarding their academic and career pathways.
TRiO Student Support Services
TRiO Student Support Services (SSS) is a federal grant funded program through the U. S. Department of Education designed to help eligible students succeed in college. The goal of TRiO SSS is to increase student retention and graduation rates by providing personalized and wrap-around support.
SCHOLARSHIPS AND GRANTS
Undergraduate students can fund their education through the Lawton grant. Graduate students should review the Advanced Opportunity Program Fellowship to further fund their education.
The Noel Compass Scholarship (NCS) is a privately funded scholarship established to encourage and reward academic achievement, leadership, and citizenship for students from Wisconsin high schools attending UW-Stevens Point (UWSP). If you are ever a victim, a firsthand witness, or heard of an incident of hate/bias secondhand, please complete a confidential Hate/Bias Incident Report.
