Qualifications vary by topic area but typically include relevant professional licensure or certification (e.g., LSW, NBC-HWC, ACC, MCC, CHES) and an advanced degree such as an MS, PsyD, or PhD. Do Institute for Behavioral Health & Wellness Training programs and certificates offer continuing education credits?
- Yes. Most of our programs offer continuing education credits (CEU, CE, CEC, etc.), typically for social workers, certified health and wellness coaches, and/or mental health counselors. Credit availability varies by course and profession—please refer to individual program webpages for specific details.
Does the State of Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services (DSPS) allow Institute for Behavioral Health & Wellness Training programs to be used to fulfill continuing education requirements for my profession?
