The Center for Prevention and Health Promotion at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point is dedicated to helping students understand how the issues of substance abuse, mental health, hazing, and interpersonal violence affect academic, social, emotional, and physical well-being.

Pointers Stick Together

The Center of Prevention and Health Promotion provides programs and services for students to help them thrive as a member of the pointer community.

 

Mantra Whole Campus Care

Mantra Health offers free mental health services to all students. Services include self-care courses, virtual peer-to-peer support groups, wellness coaching, and virtual mantra health therapists.

Educational Sanctions

Students who are found responsible for breaches of University alcohol and drug policies are required to complete an educational sanction.

Peer Education Program

Trained peer eductors offer eductional programs and events focused on low risk drinking, hazing prevention, healthy relationships, and mental health and well-being.
