A New Cultural Context

UW-Stevens Point has a long history of providing cultural exchange and international experiences for students in the U.S. and abroad. Tobias Barske was selected to participate in a competitive Fulbright Seminar in Taiwan this March, sparking new ideas for international experiences for UWSP students.

 

A Legacy Memorialized

The leadership and legacy of UW-Stevens Point’s eighth president lives on as part of the new Kirby Library and Student Resource Center. The James H. Albertson Legacy Commons reflects one of the most influential administrators in UWSP history and his vision of lifelong learning.

 

Building Relationships, Reinventing Industry, and Giving Back

Mike Kryshak, ’79, built a successful manufacturing business by prioritizing relationships, trust, and hands-on leadership. Shaped by global experiences and his time at UWSP, he now focuses on sustainability and giving back through philanthropy as he transitions toward retirement.

 

Recognizing a Healthy Future

Marshfield Clinic received the UW Regents Business Partnership Award in recognition of its decades-long partnership with UW-Stevens Point, helping prepare future healthcare professionals through education, training and scholarship support.
