Wildfires can happen anywhere, including here in Wisconsin. UW-Stevens Point Assistant Professor of Forest Ecology and former member of the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection Michael Tiller shared his knowledge on prevention and what the future of extreme fires could look like.
Just this year, the Wildfire Dashboard from the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources Fire Management shows there have been seven wildfires throughout the state, including Juneau and Lincoln counties in the north-central region.
