Victoria Kuykendall

BIO

Victoria Kuykendall joined the Department of English at the UW-Stevens Point in 2025.  She has a PhD in Victorian British literature with an emphasis on disability studies, and a MA in medieval literature with an emphasis on British literature. Kuykendall teaches composition and courses in Victorian British literature and disability studies. She has taught courses and workshops in British literature, composition, creative writing, and disability training.  View CV.  Her research interests involve medieval fairy lore, early modern lit, British Victorian lit, disability studies, popular culture, and children’s literature. She is a six-time published author in the following works: CC&D Magazine: The New World, CC&D Magazine: Nothing Lasts, CC&D Magazine: Negative Space, Expressions!, AIPF, and provost magazine Cuentos and Testimonies II: Students’ Voices, Inclusion, & Anti-Racism (to which she also worked as a peer reviewer).
