biography

Stacey has served as the Program Director for the Center for Prevention and Health Promotion at UW-Stevens Point since 2016. Before her current role, Stacey work for ten years as the Program Director of the Student Health Promotion Office at UW-Stevens Point and as a Student Services Specialist focusing on tobacco use reduction and healthy nutrition. Stacey has worked in higher education since 2003.

The Program Director for the Center for Prevention and Health Promotion is responsible for leading a coordinated, institutional approach to alcohol and other drug misuse (AOD), interpersonal violence (IPV) and hazing prevention, and mental health promotion. The position guides educational and early intervention work including program development, policy development, compliance, intervention strategies, planning and assessment. The Program Director also oversees all functions of the peer education program and the promotions team including one full-time professional staff person and five student employees. Finally, the Program Director provides direct service to students as well as build collaborative partnerships across the institution and community.
