Marta Rusten

I am originally from Norway, but grew up in western Wisconsin. I met my husband while I attended UWEC as an undergrad and we got married on campus! I’m a mom to two little boys, which I consider to be my most important job. Although cliché, I love nothing more than snuggling with a cozy blanket on the couch with a cup of tea and a good book. When I’m not playing with my sons I also love photography, traveling, knitting, and doing anything crafty.

What she wanted to be growing up: A ballerina or a photographer.
Favorite place on campus and why: The Basement Brewhaus! It has such a cool, cozy vibe and the coffee helps get me through the day.
