Krystal Salzmann

I am originally from ‘The Home of the World’s Largest Round Barn’ – Marshfield, WI. I met my husband at UWSP; we were resident assistants in Neale Hall. We graduated and became alumni in 2006. After finishing graduate school at UW-Stout, I worked at Marshfield High School for almost ten years as a school counselor. I even got to work with some of the teachers I had in high school. Now, I live in Plover with my animals (more accurate words would be menagerie or zoo). Live music, traveling, photography and watching entirely too much TV are all things I love. Most importantly, I will find any and all excuses to visit Belt’s. Stevens Point is my home and I have loved living here since my very first move-in day as a freshman.

Piece of advice: “Be yourself; everyone else is already taken.” – Oscar Wilde
What you wanted to be growing up: Veterinarian
What you enjoy about UWSP: I have always felt a sense of community here. I am grateful to be part of the university again as it continues to serve students in an ever-changing world.
Favorite place on campus and why: Walking through Champions Hall. I have so many good memories of being a Pointer. Walking through Champions Hall brings them all back – even the memories about all the times our team lost playing intramural soccer.
