Genna Mattioli

As someone who has grown up in Wisconsin my whole life, I am happy to say that I was able to find my place in Stevens Point. I grew up in the Fox Valley Area but spent much of my childhood in nature in northern Wisconsin, so I have an appreciation for both. I am an avid animal lover and spend time playing games when I can. I definitely love to shop, but I also like a nice relaxing day at home. 

Piece of advice: Go to your classes with a sense of curiosity, I promise you will enjoy every semester!
What she wanted to be growing up: While growing up I absolutely loved HGTV (and I still do), so for many years, I wanted to be an interior designer. 
What she enjoys about UWSP: Something I always enjoyed as a student and still do is the feeling I have when walking around campus. Being able to walk anywhere on campus and feel calm and happy is something I am grateful for.
Favorite place on campus and why: A place on campus I have always seemed to gravitate to is the Dreyfus University Center (DUC). With areas you can tuck away and do homework in, or a place filled with hustle and bustle, no matter my mood I always can find a place to be in the DUC.
