Eddie Goldston

Hi everyone! I’m Eddie Goldston and I’m so excited to be a part of the UWSP community. I use he/him pronouns and identify as an African American. I was born in Aurora, Illinois and raised by incredible parents who taught me the values of hard work, empathy, and community. Fun fact about me, I attended Judson University where I played basketball and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Natural Sciences with a concentration in Secondary Education. My experiences in college prompted me to pursue a career in coaching and advocating for all marginalized communities. As an African American male, I am aware of some of the obstacles students of color may face. I am passionate about helping students overcome these difficulties to ensure a positive college experience and provide them with tools to be successful post-graduation. In my free time I enjoy cooking, watching the Chicago Bears, listening to music, and spending time with friends and family. I’m so grateful for the opportunity to engage in this work and I hope to be a small part in helping students find a supportive and caring community here at UWSP.
