STEAM Point Day for Boys
February 10th, 2023
Ages: Grades 7 & 8
Located at assorted UWSP classrooms
This camp is a one-day conference for boys in the 7th and 8th grades who are interested in careers in the sciences, technology, engineering, the arts, and mathematics.
Registration Fees: $40 student/$20 chaperone

STEAM Point Day for Girls
February 17th, 2023
Ages: Grades 7 & 8
Located at assorted UWSP classrooms
This camp is a one-day conference for girls interested in careers in the sciences, technology, engineering, the arts, and mathematics.

Very Young Composers
January 2nd – January 13th, 2023 & January 21st and 22nd, 2023
4 pm – 6 pm
Ages: 4th to 5th grade
This camp will be offered to any student who is interested online via Zoom.
Students will work with UWSP students to create original musical compositions. An in-person rehearsal will be held on the 21st, beginning at 1 pm with 30 minute rehearsals until 7 pm. There will be a final showcase on the 22nd starting at 1 pm. The in-person rehearsals and showcase will be held on the UWSP campus in the Noel Fine Arts Center.

Registration: Sign up as co-ed pairs. $60 per/pair before April 20th & $70 per/pair after April 20th
Each pair will be grouped with another pair and sorted into 1 of 2 divisions: A and B. Division A is for experienced athletes, while B is for those who are beginners to the sport or are just there for a good time.

Summer 2023 Athletic Camps
UWSP works with multiple coaches and instructors in order to offer a mix of clinics and sessions throughout the summer months. These camps offer multiple opportunities for students to learn and exercise new and previous skills. Students sharpen their abilities and work with others to build teamworking skills and a sense of community with other athletes.

When your child comes to UWSP, they enter a world of learning and inspiring, working with our staff to discover new opportunities and job paths throughout a sea of job fields. Join our staff and undergraduates this summer at UWSP’s summer academic camps!
English for College
June 11th – 23rd, 2023
Ages: Going into 9th – 12th Grade
This is a program for high school students who are learning English as a second language. This camp includes classes Monday through Friday in the mornings and afternoons which focus on intensive work in reading, writing, presenting, and conducting research.
Requirements: letter of recommendation, application, transcript, essay, scholarship form, signed rules. (see webpage for more details)

Freshman Focus Summer Program: June 17th – 23rd, 2023
Ages: 9th grade
Students will live on campus and prepare for high school.
Summer Session: July 5th – August 11th, 2023
Ages: 10 – 12 grades
Students have the opportunity to live on campus and experience college life while earning an elective high school credit.
June 11th – 15th, 2023
Ages: 9th – 12th Grades
Location: NFAC
Registration: Residential – $500 fee/$100 deposit Commuters – $400 fee/$100 deposit
$25 discount for students who are or have been members of the Central Wisconsin Symphony Orchestra Program

Suzuki Summer 2023 Opportunities
UW-Stevens Point Suzuki programs teach using the philosophical principles and music education methods developed by Dr. Shinichi Suzuki. We nurture, motivate and inspire students, parents and teachers to incorporate these principles into their lives.
July 16th – 29th, 2023
Ages: 13 – 17
This camp is a two-week immersive experience. In addition to masterclasses, repertoire and technique classes, students also participate in a Chamber Orchestra and a Chamber Ensemble. Students ages 13-17 can elect to be housed in the Teen Dorm, where camaraderie and special activities enhance the experience.
