HOUSING APPLICATION
Students are REQUIRED to live in the residence halls for the first two (2) years after they graduate from high school (to see the full UW System Board of Regents’ policy, please click here). You are encouraged to apply for housing as early as possible.
Basic Instructions
- Review the living options outlined on the Housing and Residence Life website so you can be prepared to complete your online housing contract and application.
- Activate your UWSP account by following the instructions, please click here.
- Login to the UWSP Housing Portal, please click here.
- Select the appropriate application (for example, Academic Year Traditional Hall Application) and follow the instructions to complete it.
Housing Assignments
To qualify for New Student Room Selection, incoming fall semester students must complete a housing application and sign their housing contract. Housing will take everyone who completed a housing application before June 1 and assign a timeslot based on the contract completion date. The earlier the student signed their housing contract, the earlier they will get to select their room.

Housing Contracts
Part of the housing application process is to review and sign the Housing Contract. This is is completed through the housing portal. For your convenience, we also provide the housing contract here.

Suites@201 Contract
Contracts by year
Suites@201 are full academic year contracts for individuals who have graduated from high school two or more years earlier. Please note, these contracts are in effect for the entire academic year, and cannot be terminated unless you are no longer a student at UW-Stevens Point.
Summer 2024 Housing
The Summer 2024 Housing Application is now open. Students are charged weekly, Sunday through Saturday, for $120 per week. This is not prorated for students who move in later or out earlier.
