2026 COLLECTION CRAWL

The Olson Museum of Natural History will host our annual open house with hands-on exploration about the natural world. Participants can spend hours visiting collection sites around campus and engaging in science games and activities with our UW-Stevens Point staff and volunteers.  This year we showcase how our specimens provide a range of “Color and Camouflage!” Explore our museum collections up close, ask questions and participate in fun activities at each stop.

HOW IT WORKS!

Visit our natural science collections across three UWSP buildings. Explore at your own pace and collect a stamp on your passport at each site, ending at the Olson Museum of Natural History.  Then, turn in fully stamped passport for your prize!

 Campus Collection Crawl Locations:

Science Building • 2001 Fourth Avenue

Haeni Chemistry Biology Building • 2101 Fourth Avenue

Trainer Natural Resources Building • 800 Reserve Street

The UWSP Blocher Planetarium will feature 5 full-dome shows throughout the event.  Seating is first come, first served.
Titles will include:

Dinosaurs (9 min.) – 9 : 30 a.m.

Explore Earth (14 min.) – 10 a.m.

Travelling Around the World (14 min.)- 10:30 a.m.

Mysteries of Your Brain (22 min.) – 11 a.m.

Lila – The Adventure of Change (14 min.) – 11: 30 a.m.​
