UW-Stevens Point:

  • Student-led walking campus tour (Rain, snow, or shine)

Learn about the beautiful city of Stevens Point, student life, academic resources, admissions process, and the cost of attendance. A walking campus tour will follow the group discussion. 

If you wish to include a professor or coach visit in your schedule for the day, we encourage you to directly contact the academic department or coaching staff.

Driving Directions

  • Dreyfus University Center (DUC), 1015 Reserve Street, Stevens Point, WI 54481
  • Parking: Daily Visit guests may park without charge in University Lot Z, which is located on the north side of the DUC.
  • Check-in: Dreyfus University Center (near US Bank), next to our on-campus theatre. 

Area Hotels - Be sure to ask if they have special rates for UW-Stevens Point visitors! 

Because of COVID-19, certain restrictions and expectations are in place for any visitors coming to campus, as well as staff members. Please read and acknowledge these expectations carefully while visiting UW-Stevens Point.

  • For your safety, all attendees, tour guides, and staff members are required to wear masks/protective face coverings throughout the campus visit. If you do not have a mask, we will provide one for you.
  • Please do not attend your visit if you or anyone in your household is ill.
  • Follow your state and local guidelines regarding travel.
  • The total group size of this visit will be limited to 10 total people. Please be as accurate as possible when providing us with the number of guests. If your plans change and you want to bring more people than you are currently planning, contact us to ensure adding additional visitors would be in compliance with the maximum group size.
  • Social distancing is required throughout the campus visit. You will need to maintain a 6-foot distance between you and other visiting families.

In addition, some areas of campus that would normally be included in your tour are currently closed.

  • Dining facilities on campus are not operational.
  • The University Store will be open 8AM-4PM.
  • Not all buildings on campus will be available for entry. On the guided tour, you will see inside the Dreyfus University Center, two academic buildings, one residence hall, and recreation facilities. Your tour guide will still provide information on all of campus, but you will not be able to enter other buildings.
  • Your tour guide will have access to the buildings included in your guided tour, but all buildings are locked and will not be available for you to explore before or after your tour.
