UWSP Owned Tablet Service Agreement

All faculty and staff are bound by the following technology guidelines/policies located at http://www.uwsp.edu/infotech/Pages/Policies/Policies.aspx.  This document represents an appended agreement between the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point (UWSP) and any faculty or staff that is an owner of a university owned tablet. Please read this agreement carefully.

Changes may be made to this document at the discretion of UWSP Information Technology and are effective immediately.  You agree to review this agreement periodically to be aware of any modifications.

  • For security and confidentiality purposes, tablets are maintained with software provided by UWSP's Information Technology Department.  Removal or disabling of this software is prohibited.
  • Renaming the device is prohibited.
  • Jailbreaking/rooting the device is prohibited.
  • Resetting the device to factory without approval and assistance from Information Technology is prohibited.  Devices that are reset accidentally must be returned to Information Technology for proper setup.
  • Purchase of tablet applications fall under the Information Technology purchasing guidelines.

Violations of this agreement may result in disciplinary action.  To report suspected abuse, please contact the Service Desk.
